The game's release date is currently unknown in Japan and North America. The game was revealed by the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump. This game is not a card-based role-playing game as many have speculated due to a mistranslation of the scan which contains the announcement on various sites, a few sites have confirmed that the card game portion of the announcement is about a special event that will give away cards from the Blue Dragon card game by Konami for a limited time. The Nintendo DS game portion of the announcement only announces the game's existence, nothing else is known about the game. More information including the first screenshots will be revealed in the next issue.[2][3][4][5]

On December 13, the first screens were shown in Shonen Jump, showing that the game will use 2D sprite graphics. Also revealed was the game's true genre, which will be a Real time Simulation RPG.[6][7]
