The Blue-and-black Tanager (Tangara vassorii) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and heavily degraded former forest.
