Blue&Me

Blue&Me is infotainment system for Fiat Group cars, its based on Windows Mobile for Automotive and developed in partnership (started in 2004) between Fiat Auto (nowadays Fiat Group Automobiles) and Microsoft Corporation. The system is based on modular structure and is updatable to allow different services.[1] The system offers Bluetooth and USB connectivity to mobile phones and personal media players. It provides also a hands-free system, allowing you to control all features by voice commands, using speech technology from Nuance Communications. [2] With the help of Magneti Marelli the system is developed to be compatible to most of the mobile phones and media players.[3][1] Blue&Me Nav is enhanced system which offers also GPS navigation feature.[4]
At the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007 was unveiled new service to the system the EcoDrive, it offers ability to follow driving efficiency, it collects CO2 emissions levels and other parameters to USB key, which then can be connected to the home PC and analyzed.[5]
At the Bologna Motor Show 2007, Fiat will present new portable navigation system to the Blue&Me called Blue&Me Map.[6]
The system is exclusive to Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia cars and Fiat Professional's light commercial vehicles.
