My Blog:
Hello, my name is Ashley Buchholz. I'm in grade eight. I've decided to write this blog because I love to help people out. It's also a good way to get awesome opportunities that will benefit me one day. (im hoping)
I would say that being a volunteer isn't very glamorous, you don't get paid and you don't do as much as regular employee's do. But you still get to do valuable things that help animals. To animals at the spca are heroes, and without these heroes there wouldn't be any places for the animals to stay. They would be shoved away on the streets like a scrap of meat. Of course though, the downfall of volunteering is that you don't get paid (like i said before) but hey, if you knew you weren't going to get paid, why would you volunteer in the first place?
Volunteering is a wonderful thing to do with your spare time, even if you have hardly any time you could always do at home work such as phone work, or even help them out in your own way.
Volunteering is just one of those things where you just
help just to know that you have helped a lot of animals who could be out there getting hurt and shoved around, It's a great feeling to help them find a better home and make sure that they aren't miserable.
Now to put some humor into this seeing as I don't really have much more to speak about. These are more of fun facts about animals, fun things that happen with them, stuff like that. So something like this; did you know that the average dog lives for about 15 years at the most. It's these little simple things that actually make people want to know more isn't it? Everytime you hear something interesting it makes you want to hear/know more. It's as though this information makes you want to help out. (in a way) It sure made me want to help in anyway i could.
There's so much left to talk about, but as it is. Unfortunatluy we have to end this here. So I just want to take this time out to say, if your interested in doing something positive for your community then try volunteering today. My name is Ashley Buchholz, once agin.
I will be writing 2 blogs a month about the s.p.c.a so stay tuned.

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Wikipedia operates on the principle that every contributor has a right if they wish to remain completely anonymous. Wikipedia policy on that issue is strictly enforced. Posting private information about a user with the intent to annoy, threaten or harass, specifically their (alleged) name and/or personal details, is strictly prohibited as harassment, and users who do that are often immediately blocked from editing Wikipedia. Such posting can cause offense or embarrassment to the victim of the posting, not least because it means that their name, and any personal criticism or allegations made against them can then appear on web searches.
If you have posted such information, please remove it immediately. Please then follow the link to this page and follow the instructions there, including emailing this address. It will then be removed from the archives of Wikipedia.
If you do not ensure that the personal information you posted is removed from this site you will be blocked from editing this site. Remember: Wikipedia's privacy policy is there to protect the privacy of every user, including you. – i123Pie biocontribs 12:53, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your user subpage at User talk:Blog-spca, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's user page policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here? I'd appreciate hearing your views, such as your reasons for wanting this particular page and any alternatives you might accept.
There are several options available for resolving this matter:
- If you can relieve my concerns through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
- If you decide to delete the page yourself, please add
{{Db-userreq}}
to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it. - If the two of us can't agree on what needs to be done, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's user pages for discussion, which may result in the page in question being deleted.
