[edit] The Blood Brothers (band) move
Why has "the blood brothers" been turned to a redirect to this page? The band are the only item in this list with "THE" in front, and I think that a simple redirect link at the top of their page would have sufficed. Who exactly is responsible for the move, and what are your reasons for it? Olliemilne 00:31, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- because at least two of the films on the list are known as "The Blood Brothers". additionally the word "The" is diminutive in mandarin/cantonese therefore any chinese film entitled "Blood Brothers" (three on the list, several more to be added) is also known as "The Blood Brothers". furthermore there is a european folktale entitled "The Blood Brothers", there are comic book characters named "The Blood Brothers" etc etc. p.s. dont use bold on disambig pages, see WP:MOSDAB. cheers.

- I see, it just seems like the blood brothers band article is getting lost in a sea of mostly stub articles. That's why I bolded it (I didn't know the rules about not bolding stuff, sorry) and I see people have been fixing the various links to the article, its just something of a concern when someone searches for the band. I guess they should have chosen a more original name for their band :/ oh well, thanks. Olliemilne 16:56, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

- I think the page should be moved around to compinsate to whom gets the most hits. Bloodbrothers (novel) doesn't even exist, yet it goes on top of a popular band? someone needs to rethink this. -- 63.231.133.242 04:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

- I am in complete agreement with you. I wonder if there is any way to find which specific article gets more hits? I think that the play "blood brothers" will be the top article, but yes I agree that this article gets more hits than a non-existant one (obviously) and even the numerous chinese films (which are mostly stub articles). As the articles are divided by category, perhaps music could be moved ahead of movies? I'll investigate but theres probably some wikipedo rule against it, knowing the luck I've had so far with this Olliemilne 16:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC).
