Blountstown High School

Blountstown High School is a high school located in Blountstown, Florida, the county seat of Calhoun County, Florida.

The Blountstown High School FFA Chapter won the 2006 FFA National Forestry Championship. The team was comprised of Jennie Fagen, Will Leonard, Max Herndon, and Nic Stoltzfus. It is the first National Championship won by Blountstown High School. They competed against 36 teams from around the country.
Will Leonard brought won first place for the Prepared Public Speaking contest in 2007.
Jeff Stewart, Amy Reid, Nic Stoltzfus, and Max Herndon competed in the Farm Business Management Contest and placed second in 2007.

The Tigers have one of the top high school football programs in the state of Florida. They won state titles in 1973, 1976, and 1977, and were class 1A state runners-up in 2004. The current head coach is Greg Jordan, a Blountstown native who was an assistant a BHS for several years before leaving in 2005 to be the head coach at Wewahitchka High School in Wewahitchka, Florida. He left the Wewahitchka Gators at the end of the year, despite leading the Gators to the playoffs and a winning season. This season, however, the Tigers are 3-4. The Tigers are a member of FHSAA Class 2B, District 2 football.
