The Bloomington Extreme are a professional indoor football team. They joined the United Indoor Football league in 2006 as an expansion team. The team's name is derived from a naming rights deal with local auto dealer Extreme Motors.
The Extreme play their home games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois (which is also the home of the IHL's Bloomington Prairie Thunder).
