Bloody Mess & The Skabs were a punk rock band formed in the late 1980s in Peoria, Illinois by front man Bloody F. Mess and drummer Gabby Skab. They gained national recognition through television interviews with Phil Donahue and Rolanda Watt and through touring with GG Allin on his "Hated in the Nation Tour".The band also appeared on the English television show Passengers. The band signed to Black and Blue Records in the late eighties.
Bloody Mess & The Skabs are also known for their use of art by John Wayne Gacy and Kenneth Bianchi (the Hillside Strangler) on their album releases.
