Bloody 27 is a 2008 horror film currently being filmed throughout Florida. It stars Michael Winslow, Lauren Brown, Martin Seijo and Ilana Cohen. The feature film is set on an abandoned highway near the Everglades where people have been vanishing over the past 25 years. Principle Photography began on October 6th, 2007 according to the Orlando Sentinel and the Hollywood Reporter

Shooting of the film began on October 6th, 2007 throughout Florida. Principle photography will wrap in May 2008. According to the trade papers, the expected theatrical release is early 2009.

The 1973 Plymouth Duster used throughout the film was inspired by the car used in the Steven Spielberg movie Duel. The 1971 Plymouth in Duel features the same basic chassis, interior and front end -- although Bloody 27 features a coupe (Duster) instead of Duel's sedan (Valiant).
