Blood in My Eye is an album by rapper Ja Rule released in 2003. It is his 5th album. It is made up of mostly songs aimed toward dissing rival rappers including 50 Cent, DMX, Eminem and the whole Aftermath Entertainment/G-Unit Records camp. It was done during the feud with 50 Cent. The album was named after George Jackson's radical book of the same name. The album sold 160,000 units in its first week. It peaked at number six on the Billboard 200.
Hussein Fatal of Outlawz, Cadillac Tah, James Gotti, Sizzla, Black Child, Young Merc & D.O. Cannon, Shadow, and Sekou 720 are featured on this album.
The album was also released in a censored format removing most profanities, drug-related and violent content. It is probably the most efficiently edited out of all his clean versions.
