Blood Orange Media creates and produces programming that spans travel, historical, lifestyle, human interest, business and world culture genres. Founded by Simone Ahuja in 2003, Blood Orange is based in Minneapolis, USA and Bombay, India with affiliate producers and creative staff around the world.

Blood Orange works include documentaries, films and television series in addition to fictional television formats. Blood Orange films have won awards from SAJA for its film, "Diabetes Around the World" (CNBC), and from the Jerome Foundation for its short films, Scrum in the Mud and Lunch on the Run. Blood Orange television series, Indique - Untold Stories of Contemporary India, is airing on PBS stations across the US, on international airlines and on Zee Networks in India.

Blood Orange creates programming with an in-house development team, supported by strategic alliances including broadcasting professionals and consultants. Through these partnerships Blood Orange content is adapted to serve a range of media platforms including broadcast television, video-on-demand, mobile content, and films on the web, as well as theatrical documentary release.
