Could you please help me? This user has been making disruptive edits to Indian caste system and has been filling the talk page with extremely hateful comments against Hindus [1][2]. I have tried to reason with him on his talk page [3] but he refuses and continues making hate speech. Is there anything you can do? Hkelkar 07:55, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- That isn't hate speech. Is it wrong? Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 04:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it is.The dynamic is complex and the Caste System is as much connected to Islam and Christianity as it is to Hinduism in India. I have cited refs by Prof. Sikand , Mohamed Habib and Ambedkar in the talk page where the origins and practices of Caste among South Asian Muslims are discussed at some length, as well as the sanction of the same by the Indian Islamic Ulema through the interpretation of Koranic verse.Hkelkar 05:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, point that out then. It seems like a content dispute. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 05:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] JAKAZiD
Why did you speedy delete JAKAZiD? It's been receiving quite a lot of attention recently, not only because he's a minor Internet celebrity, but also now a real musician - he's signed onto two major UK hardcore labels, and therefore not a "self web-recorded musician". His first released single, "Cillit Bang" will enter the UK charts and be played on the radio, so he certainly qualifies as a notable musician, as per WP:MUSIC. --PkerUNO 23:10, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Georgian treaty
Do you mean my Treaty of Moscow (1920) DYK nom? I am not sure what to change, hopefully another user can come up with more neutral hook. As for Bravda, I am not not sure; based at my talk (User_talk:Piotrus/Archive_12#Renata_Beger_2) I think that this was because of some deletion of an image, but I somewhat doubt that such a minor issue would casue a user to quit. PS. User_talk:Ed_g2s#So_that_you_know - this confirms that his reason for leaving was the deletion of few images :( -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 02:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

- There is actually a difference between Israel the state, and Jewish people who inhabit them. Needless to say, having such opinions will bring extra POV-scrutiny to his edits and make things difficult for him when he tries to edit religion-related stuff. Same as all those Balkans guys with big slogans on their userpage. There are actually high ranking admins who feel the same way (not me) as BhaiSaab. [edit] Block for Antisemitism
- While Bhaisaab's comments seem unduly confrontational.I believe he is not as much anti-Jew as he seems Anti-Israel.Kelkar claims himself to be a jew but I believe there is no way of identifying that fully..Subhash too claimed to be a neocon and Zionist..Also, this edit news item seems interesting in this case BBC..One week's block seems a bit harsh when kelkar is off just for 12 hours...I don't know much about their backgrounds though kelkar seems to have picked up quite a few blocks already..you may be in a better position to judge TerryJ-Ho 17:09, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

- Personally, due to the personal scrapping which is prevalent in this area of editing, I have been rather soft on blocking for personal attacks and incivility, although with religious inflammation and vilification, I have not been so easy. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 02:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hello Blnguyen, one week? Seriously overkill... I agree that there is a preponderance of baiting of User:Hkelkar on User:BhaiSaab's part but seriously a week particularly given Hkelkar's essentially equal level of baiting? Would you kindly post your block for review on either WP:AN or WP:ANI? Thanks. (→Netscott) 23:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's fine. I blocked Bose for a week for calling Muhammad a pedophile. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 02:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- The last time I blocked FairNBalanced for uplaoding the Allah Pig image I didn't see any complaint either. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 03:14, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the responses Blnguyen. Of course you had no complaint from me about User:FairNBalanced. His "Allah Pig" thing was the last in a long series of baiting type editing on his part and he had expressly inserted himself into a group of Muslim editors and proceeded to make his hateful demonstrations. Has User:BhaiSaab really done the same? Did you post on AN or ANI already? (→Netscott) 05:35, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- Looks like NetScott is merely backing BhaiSaab up. BhaiSaab has way more blocks than Hkelkar. Also, you blocked Netscott yourself for one week, and BhaiSaab backed him up. He's not fooling anyone by pretending to be a third party. I still remember when Terry, Ikonoblast (Holywarrior), BhaiSaab, CiteCop and Netscott all conspired to get me blocked on ANI for supposedly being Subhash's sock.Bakaman Bakatalk 00:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- Justified in pretending to be a third party? You and I dont pretend to be third parties, we are both completely open with our POV. Thanks for your revert on Andhra Pradesh page(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andhra_Pradesh). I am new to Wikipedia. [edit] ME Waugh
Reads much better than the Sehwag article and better use of statistics. Some comments :
- Three quotes about Tufnell in two lines doesn't read very well
- A little more context in the Waugh-Warne bookmaker affair - something to the effect that it was in 1994 and in Colombo. The news came out in 1998 but did ACB fine them in 1994 or 1998 ?
- "He was married for the first time on" : Isn't it his only marriage ?
- Re average as opener, Statsguru gives it as 44.06 Tintin (talk) 05:19, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- Yeah, my brain isn't so good eh? Yes it is his only marriage - he was engaged/partnered to a woman about 10 years older than him for about 20 years prior to that. As for the bookmaker stuff, I don't even know what the details were except the match was in 94 sometime. Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 07:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning?
For what exactly?I never made those ridiculous assertions that Ambedkaritebuddhist makes. If fact, the dude himself made some pretty hatemongering comments (along the same lines as Dhammafriend, of whom he's probably a sockpuppet or meatpuppet). Check his edit summaries of Indian Buddhist Movement. You must understand the context that Ambedkarite Neo-Buddhism has as much to do with Buddhism that scientology has to do with Christianity. It is not actual Buddhism but a cult hiding behind a veneer of Buddhism. The Indian Buddhist Movement article got taken over by POV pushers who are downplaying the normal practice of Buddhism in India and the Neo-Buddhist cult who have grabbed media attention and have come to the spotlight.Hkelkar 07:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- And one othet thing. I was on irc the other day on #wikipedia-in and several users agreed with me on this point, that the article has been taken over by Neo-Buddhist POV-pushers.Hkelkar 07:59, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] About antisemitism accusation
Hello. It's about the present issue of BhaiSaab blocking. I've read the arguments of the different parties on the page. I would like to mention that I've also been accused of antisemitism by Hkelkar just for having said Daniel Pipes is a neocon (see [4]). Yes, just that. Hkelkar tried to block me on that matter but didn't succeed. Given that Hkelkar is a sock puppet of the well known disruptive user Netaji (see [5]), and that Netaji described himself as "neocon" in his user page, you should be more careful about every blocking request made for Hkelkar on the ground of antisemitism. Thanks. TwoHorned 06:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I stand by my block of BhaiSaab and it was supported by a whole bunch of other people, without Hkelkar reporting it, so the second point is wrong. As for his accusations towards everybody else, you can see what response he has gotten for those requests. Arbitration seems inevitable in this sphere of editing. - The article is not new *> You are right.I did not say that it was new.
- Its obvious who you are referring to; Hindu users that disagree with you*> You are free to imagine whatever you wish to
- The Muslim Guild trolled on WP:ANI at the behest of BhaiSaab *> If topics are related in anyway to their areas of interest they would like to put in their views in any case, I don't know of such historical issues,
- Terry called for a mob to get at Hkelkar, me, subhash-bose, nobleeagle, nids, and d-boy (a.k.a. Hindutvavadis).Bakaman*> Where? Why do you think all of them are Hindutvavadis. Are they a cabal? Are you one? TerryJ-Ho 20:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

- Terry has been harassing me on my talk page as well.Perhaps a word to him is needed.Hkelkar 21:11, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- > I have not had any interaction with nobleeagle, nids, and d-boy and there are some content issues with you and Kelkar - a few on civility in general with HKelkar. What Bhaisaab does with others is his own business TerryJ-Ho 21:15, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, hmm you, User:twoHorned and Bhaisaab want to fight us hindutva wanderers. Its less of you and more of Bhaisaab, but running to the guild for help calling for protection against "hindutvavadis" doesnt help your cause. Bhaisaab has gotten into huge fights with D-boy, and nids and nobleeagle attacked the afd's so they wouldnt pass.Bakaman Bakatalk 21:21, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

- Unfortunately, I know nothing of the country, apart from removing an editor's tourist brochurising. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:01, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

- Well I have expressed my points before so I won't rehash them. I have been on irc and had had an interesting discussion that revealed to me how some admins work on wikipedia. I would, of course, welcome any involvement in this matter from you in any capacity, even advisorial. I can't speak for Trident, of course, but I have emailed him and let him know of what has transpired.I feel that this decision is arbitrary and a tactical move by certain users. I feel that I have not done anything wrong, nor have I violated any wikipedia policies for which measures have already not been taken (though I can't speak for Trident who is most certainly not my sockpuppet, despite what some people believe).Hkelkar 20:23, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Ernham
Hi. This user is just back from a block and has already engaged in personal attacks and a 3RR violation for which I've reported him. Mark83 00:47, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

- Yeah, someone else will do it. Seeing as I have been in content dispute with him recently, and generally in the same sport, it would look terrible. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:01, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oh sure, I realise once you get involved in reverts you can't get involved in the block. I was just updating you. Best regards Mark83 00:52, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Blnguyen, thank you for bringinjg me back to my senses. I'm very grateful for your intervention, and I can't tell you how much this Ernham is getting under my skin with his outrageous and disruptive reverts, even if he shouldn't. Again, many thanks.--Ramdrake 01:09, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Just saw your second and latest message.I reverted myself. Thanlk you again for your heartfelt concern. 'Tis truly appreciated.--Ramdrake 01:11, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- He'll get banned soon. Don't worry, he has been making POV edits to a whole pile of pages. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 08:09, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
