[edit] Hey
Hey you! You should have read all the talks on the name controversy of Kolkata. Those were archived in talk page archives. At least, you should have proposed the redirect in the talk page first, and then according to the consensus, should have moved. I am not against the redirect, but against the way you did it. You could easily see that a lot of activities were going on in that article, so before moving, I emphasize, you should have proposed in the talk page. Moreover, you have not done the redirect properly. You have not moved the archived talk pages, neither have you properly linked to the peer review that Kolkata has been undergoing. Please be cautious from the next time.--Dwaipayanc 11:34, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Hi! Please do not arbitarily move pages without a proper discussion since it affects a lot of pages. We had a huge discussion on the name change which went into a vote last Feb-March with the result to use the name Kolkata. Also copypasting contents from one page to another is the incorrect way to move a page, it destroys the page history. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 12:51, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
