[edit] Article rewrite/restructuring

I've tried to whip this thing into something more substantial, taking most of the speculative stuff from About Time 5. There are only two aspects that are, as yet, uncited: one is the idea that Letts and Dicks had no idea what the BLE was supposed to be about. That's easily done once I get back and dig through my references, I'm sure it's in there somewhere. The second is the theorising about why the BLE wasn't operative in Father's Day which is slightly more problematic because that's skirting if not outright treading on OR. In any case, please go over this article for any problems. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 09:37, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Punishment of Third Doctor

Part of the Third Doctor's punishment by the Time Lords put a bind on his knowledge which may limit his understanding of the effect. Also, the First Doctor may have given an explanation which fit with his companions understanding of time. Hackwrench 00:40, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Movie References

I remember something similar happening at the end of Timecop. There's no energy discharge, but the old and new versions of the bad guy collapse into a pool of blood. --Sbguy78 (talk) 17:07, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Time Machine w/ Emma

That film...yeah. Considering the other sci-fi references, would it be wrong to assume that this is why he couldn't save Emma?
