Blind Flight is a British film, released in 2003. It is based on the true-life story of the kidnapping and imprisonment of English journalist John McCarthy and the Irish journalist Brian Keenan in the Lebanon from 1986 until their release in 1991. The film is based on Keenan's memoir, An Evil Cradling. The film received widespread critical acclaim, being nominated for six awards, and winning a BAFTA. It was written and directed by John Furse.
