Bleed In Vain is a metal/melodic death metal band from Italy. They combine different elements of rock and alternative rock in their music.

The band was formerly known as This Illusion and in 2002 released a demo, Of Promises Decayed; thanks to this demo the band started to reach audience from Europe and was nominated "International Band of the Month" by the webzine Swedishmetal.net owned by Fredrik Kreem. In 2004, the band signed with Cartel Media Records and released their debut studio album, One Day Left. In summer 2005 the band enter Studio Fredman (Gothenburg, Sweden) with producer Fredrik Nordstrom to record guitar, bass and mixing their new songs. In 2006, the band signed with Canadian based Unicorn Records and released their second studio album, Say Everything Will Be Fine.
