[edit] Map service icons
Work on the map icons on the Graphics Lab seems to have stalled. I think your ideas are good but agree with Ddxc in that perhaps the perspective distortion should be reduced. Would you be willing and able to do that? Then I figure they can be used and the subject closed. --Seans Potato Business 13:43, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:05, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Flag of Salt Lake City SVG.svg
Thank you for uploading Image:Flag of Salt Lake City SVG.svg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:42, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Mapaccess2.svg
Thanks for uploading Image:Mapaccess2.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Also from the graphics lab
We've found and uploaded an SVG of "SpeedTree" and it's now on that articel. Is it good enough now to file the request as done? 68.39.174.238 (talk) 14:08, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yup, I'll do that.
[edit] Reminder to sign comments
This just a reminder, in case you didn't know, to sign your comments on talkpages (in particular the Graphics Lab page (I haven't check any others)). Failure to do so causes mysteries :) ----Seans Potato Business 23:20, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Slavin agency
A tag has been placed on Slavin agency, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 20:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tandy Corporation
I've reverted your addition to Tandy Corporation again. I really could not understand what you meant by the phrase you added, and I like to think I have a pretty good grasp of English. :-) I'm not saying that your addition is wrong in any way; just that I couldn't understand what you meant. What is it you're trying to say in your addition? Maybe I can help you phrase it differently so it's understandable. (By the way, please don't forget to sign messages you leave on Talk pages using four tildes). -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 10:18, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, I have no idea who "Strong Bad" is. As far as I could see your update was just a string of random words. This is why you need to change the wording if you re-add the text. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 09:13, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's an interesting approach, although surely it's better to word the addition in such a way that people who are unfamiliar with something that is only very loosely connected to the subject are able to understand it without trawling through another article? If you point me at the source you want to cite, I'll have a look at rewording it for you. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 22:06, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I've reworded your text so that it says what I think you're trying to say. I have to say that I'm going to revert it again at the weekend, unless you can find a source to back up what you've said. All contributions need to have reputable, third-party sources for inclusion in Wikipedia. Have a look at WP:CITE to see what I mean.-- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 09:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Iida_Shojiro_sharp.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Iida_Shojiro_sharp.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? MECU≈talk 16:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
