You bet, my buddy. You have done a great job! See you soon. --Rednblu 20:35, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wow!

I'm a wikipedian and I haven't seen wikipedia for a while. I edited the article Bongo (antelope) a lot and wow! You've really shown effort as a new wikipedian! One more thing. You need to organize each part of the article better. But overall, wow! I give you an A! Nice work! I am not trying to get your personal info. but what grade are you in? [edit] Inline references

See here:WP:CITE and here:WP:CITET for info about how to produce inline references. Michael Jordan, an article that I'm the main contributor/writer on, has correct referencing style, you could just copy the methods used there. I can't really add the references myself because that would require me to learn and read all the info about the animal. Maybe you can just show me each source and I'll teach you how to add them. [edit] Bongo FAC

As for the Bongo FAC,it's much better. I just ran AndyZ's PR script and put it on the talk page. You should work through it, the script is pretty good, but has a few bugs. Someone will probably tell you to get rid of the gallery, work the pics into appropriate sections of the body. As for refs, you need to tie them to pertinent body sections and footnote them. I'm teach you. We'll start with web refs, tell me what web refs apply to what lines of the body, and I'll footnote them for you. A ref can be used more than once. let's put all our talk on the bongo thread you started on my talk page, that way we're not bouncing back and forth. Rlevse 02:12, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

I've rechecked and I am happy with the text. However I can not support it until the inline citation is up to stuff. Tirronan 02:42, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey there, Black Stripe. I'd normally love to help you out, but I'm in a bit of a crunch for time at the moment, so I'll keep it brief. The sections in WP:Footnotes regarding how to use footnotes has gotten pretty useful in the last few months with a few visual demonstrations. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. You essentially just do this:

Hi Black Strip! I've looked at this but there is still no inline citation which is about all that it lacks. Look at WP:Cite and WP:Footnotes for help on this. Once you do that I will support it. This is a pretty article. Tirronan 17:39, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I am very, very awesome.<ref>Doe, John. (2006). ''JHMM13'', New York: Awesome Book Publisher. ISBN 1-234-56789-0.</ref>

And it will end up looking like this:

[edit] My section

I am very, very awesome.[1]

[edit] References

  1. ^ Doe, John. (2006). JHMM13, New York: Awesome Book Publisher. ISBN 1-234-56789-0.

Please excuse me if I've added far too much to your talk page :-D. If you want to see how I do it myself, here's an article I'm currently attempting to bring to FA status: Domenico Selvo. Cheers, JHMM13 06:10, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inline citations

The article still has no inline citations. This is something that is going to take a while to do and will be a non-starter for an FAC. Once you've got all that checked out and enough citations to match the claims made in the article (check out recently-nominated FAs fo an idea of the density that is generally sought), let me know and I'll check out the prose. JHMM13 17:53, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I've rechecked your article and you now have inline citations. You may want to add a few more but I will support it. Tirronan 16:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bongo (antelope) Vandalism

Thanks for your message. I just happened to be scanning the Recent Changes page and saw what appeared to be vandalism, so I reverted the edits. It looks like you have done a lot to improve this article so keep up the good work! DAJF 00:54, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello. I notice you've been making some nice edits to textile arts articles. Perhaps you'd be interested in joining WikiProject Textile Arts? --Eyrian 15:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Microwave oven

G'day. I note that much of what you put into the microwave oven section is a copy of a document that has been floating around the internet for years. This document was debunked several years ago. You may wish to read: Microwaves, Nazis, cults... Gillyweed (talk) 21:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Coeliac disease and passover

You have now several times changed coeliac disease to read that one must consult a rabbi in particular circumstances. Obviously this is correct, but an encyclopedia simply cannot instruct its readers to go talk to a rabbi - encyclopedias never instruct their readers to do anything (see WP:IINFO). I am not up-to-date with recent responsa about coeliac disease. Therefore, if you could produce a recent summary of halachic views on coeliacs eating matzo on Pesach that would be much better. Thanks for your message. It would be very good if you could find a published version of the opinion of Dayan Westheim shlita, because it is highly representative of the conundrum. I think the present version simply does not discuss the possibility of "I am coeliac and have no oat matzo, am I obliged to eat wheat matzo on Seder night?" JFW | T@lk 10:28, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
