Toonami: Black Hole Megamix was created in 2003 by DJ Clarknova, who took past, present, and unreleased tracks from Toonami (along with various character quotes from both Toonami shows, TOM2, and Sara), and mixed them into what was to be the second official soundtrack to Cartoon Network's action TV block Toonami. But due to somewhat unknown reasons, the album was never officially released to the public. The CD was however sent to the heads of Toonami Digital Arsenal, who were allowed to release the CD in digital format on their site (in 128kbps AAC and Mp3). It contains music from various shows' intros, outros, and promo spots, along with other Toonami music, like it's predacessor Toonami: Deep Space Bass. Although the CD was sent to the heads of Toonami Digital Arsenal, it was without a track listing, and the tracks were then simply dubbed "ToonamiBHM-01" - "ToonamiBHM-21".

According to Joe Boyd Vigil himself, during an interview with The.Toonmaster, although not 100% sure, he stated that he thought at least three of his own tracks were used in the Megamix.
