[edit] Time of Blackadder's Christmas Carol

Queen Victoria and Prince Albert should already have had all their children by the time this takes place, because of Blackadder's reference to their '112 children'. This means it must be a Christmas between 1857 and 1860 inclusive. Albert refers to Victoria being 'busy ruling India'. The British Crown took over direct rule of India in 1858, so if BCC took place at Christmas 1858 that would be fresh in Albert's mind so he'd be more likely to mention it.
