Agreed. This article is extremely biased, especially in the performances section. MoChan 22:00, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

RESPONSE TO POV I feel the need to respond to this POV esp. since it is so prominently displayed. Why shouldn't the article about Lewis be favorable about his abilities? He is a talented, performer with charisma. He got a lot of flack from various media and AI fans when Melinda Dolittle was eliminated from AI and he was unfairly blamed for her departure. It was due to public vote and his fans got out the vote. I love Melinda's singing but Jordin Sparks and Lewis were both worthy competitors. Sparks' version of "I Who Have Nothing" and Lewis' version of "You Give Love a Bad Name" were standout performances. It is amazing to me that so many of Melinda's so-called sophisticated, grown-up fans reacted so spitefully to Lewis and continue to do so. Get over it. Give the boy a chance. And lest you think I am an over-excited tween-I am over 50 and have musicals tastes that span from early rock and roll to hip hop. sierrarose, March 26, 2008, 1:36 am.

[edit] Fansites

It is necessary to have this section in the article? I think it is going to be filled by spams and useless materials...Connie 07:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 311 / page lock

There is a 311 link in the article which doesn't link to the band's wiki page, but rather a disambiguation page. You actually have to go through two or three more clicks to get to 311 (band). I'd change it but I don't see an edit link at the top; it looks as though this article is locked but doesn't have a tag to say so. 63.163.61.3 14:54, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I got it. I didn't have any problem editing it, and I still see the edit links on this page if I log out. Maybe there's a problem on your end. --DavidK93 14:27, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Who is Shannon?

I think that shouldn't be there- any reason why it should? Riverbend71.203.252.107

[edit] Bottom two?

I watched the show TWICE for references that Blake was in the bottom two - and I have to disagree with that comment on the main article. I think this is incorrect. Just because he was grouped with LaKisha, and Ryan let him know LAST, doesn't mean he was in the bottom two. I think Idol is just battling the DialIdol predictions by mixing things up a little.

I agree with you. That's unfair to determine whether he was in the bottom 2 based on the fact that you've given. It'd be better stating he was safe only. By the way, I recommand you to sign the above statement for convenience and better organization. Connie 07:20, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

Does anyone have any means to integrate this section into other parts of the article? I've tried but it's hard to integrate the line about Rudy Cárdenas or his favorite artists into any other section. I do want to keep this statement since it worths mentioning in my opinion. I also want to mention that many other Idol articles have got a "Trivia" section but only this one receives a warning template. Connie 07:20, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fans

Should there be a bit on how they call his fans Blaker Girls or is that beside the point?--Tikuko 13:30, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

I do not think it is appropriate to name "Jordin Sparks" as the artist behind "This Is My Now" Although she is now the artist behind the song, when Blake Lewis sang it, she was not. It should not be listed as such. Kthnx.

[edit] Before History

There should be something on his before songs like " She Loves The Way" because that was like his begining career. Also the fact that he did a song with Caleb Cunningham called "My Eyes".

Some of his Pre-American Idol songs include: "She Loves The Way," "Emotional Waterfalls," "Jealousy," "4 Letter Word," "My Eyes" and "We Came To Get Down" (both with Caleb Cunningham), "Julie" and "Take Control KIDS" (both with Unexpected Arrival), "Dumpty Humpty," "Babe/The Beat Goes On" (with Captain Smartypants), "Me Gusta La Musica" (with Kickshaw, although this might have been after Idol) and "Transmission." --Anonymous 07:39, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Detail of American Idol performances

I don't think they're really necessary, it seems like it's just filler material to me. I think just the table of performances and results is fine by itself. Thoughts? graphitesmoothie (talk | contributions) 05:18, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Audio Day Dream album cover

I'm not sure where this would go, but the cover for Audio Day Dream was put on Amazon today. Here it is:
