As for your text about the opera singer, I cut it back because I felt it was too enthusiastic, too much advertising, not "encyclopedic" in tone. Remember articles must be written in a neutral, sober way. Also, if you want to expand it with more material again, it will be necessary that it's sourced - for instance, try to find citations from reputed music journals giving critical appraisals of his performances, something like that. If you want to show that he's more than just a reasonably talented average-Joe musician who has made a few opera performances, you need some evidence.

Please don't reintroduce all that fan-cruft material. His performances as a student are really not noteworthy - heck, I've taken part in such gigs myself. And the awards need to be checked for notability - if they are just student competitions and the like, we shouldn't list them. And please tone down the language.
