Blackwood is a legend..

Why leave when you have places like the spoons or The red lion to see you through the weekend, then pop up kebab land and enjoy some authentic blackwood cuisine.

"Blackwood Comprehensive School is a local comprehensive school, with many famous ex-pupils, that is continually adding to the success of education in the Caerphilly Borough. In 2006 alone, the school has achieved many successful ventures - Welsh young enterprise team winners, Welsh young woman of the year and a maths teacher as teacher of the year. The school has strong ties with the local community and has supported charities, local and global. Blackwood Comprehensive School is at the forefront of ICT and Science development in local education, as well as having great success in many subjects, including sport, Welsh language ventures and general innovative initiatives in the field of education, in Wales and the UK."

This is a wikipedia page about Blackwood, not an advert for it's comprehensive school.

I'm not sure the current British electoral system was modelled with the demands of the Chartists in mind..

[edit] Education in Blackwood

I don't think it's relevant to mention schools in Fleys-de'lis, Oakdale etc in an article Blackwood, even though pupils from Blackwood might attend these schools.--Rhyswynne (talk) 10:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
