Talk:Blackleg Miner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not convinced this is a nineteenth-century folk song. The earliest printed version is in A.L. Lloyd's book "Come All Ye Bold Miners" 1949. There are several websites that suggest it originated in 1844, but no evidence is given. I can believe that that the word "blackleg" originates in 1844. Ogg (talk) 19:48, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
