[edit] Poor Quality

This article seems to exclusively site unreliable sources. The 9th Company is a highly fictionalised film based loosely on events of the Soviet-Afghan War and the Russian-Chechen War, it is not a historical document and cannot be treated as such. As for the claim that an entire 3000-strong Brigade was annihiliated in one battle in Afghanistan, I doubt that very much, since the Soviets only took 14,500 combatant fatalities during the entire course of the war. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.129.179.119 (talk) 18:55, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
