Phat Trax Vol. 1: Blazin is a rap/R&B album written and performed by Hunterz, his brothers Ishers and V, and his cousin Chand. Ahmed Anis and Kumaar also contributed to the songwriting.
Blazin was the third album fully produced by Hunterz, the second on which he sang lead vocals, and the first to predomninantly feature the vocals of his brothers and cousin, though his brothers contributed backing vocals to his previous album Most Wanted.
The majority of songs on the album alternate Hunterz' singing in Hindi with English vocals by his brothers and cousins, mostly rap but with some R&B-style singing. The exceptions are: Intro and Interlude, which are both spoken introductions to the music; Believe In Me, on which Hunterz does not sing but features a repeated sample from the song Sone Di Taveetri by Pakistani artist Noor Jehan; Hai Jamalo which features no rap vocals; and Outro which is apparently a recording of an applauding crowd, over which Hunterz can be heard attempting unsuccessfully to calm them down.
