[edit] Summary

30-second sample of Black Flag Slip It In from Slip It In (1984).

[edit] Fair use for Image:BlackFlagSlipItIn.ogg

Though the picture is subject to copyright I (Peter G Werner 02:56, 2 March 2007 (UTC)) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. it is only a 30-second sample of a much longer track.
  2. it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the CD album in any way;
  3. the sample could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another CD;
  4. the music sample is significant because it was made by a famous artist, Black Flag, being a notable representation of their sound late in their career.
