Blatchley Middle School (BMS) is the sole middle school in the city of Sitka, Alaska serving grades 6-8.
The school's student body, as with most schools in the Sitka School District, is primarily composed of caucasians, Alaska Natives, and Asian-Pacific Islanders.
The current Principal is Charlie Robison, and the current Vice Principal is Casey Demmert.
[edit] Extracurricular activities
Blatchley offers Wrestling, Cross-country, Track & Field, Basketball, and Volleyball (Intermural and Varsity) to all interested participants.
In addition, there are also many clubs such as Chess, Archery, Drama, Art, and Sewing Club. All clubs are available to all students.
