[edit] Biography
Born August 18, 1967 in Kennedy, Texas, Elias learned to play drums in junior high school. However, his first gig was playing guitar in eighth grade. He also plays keyboards.
After graduating, Elias attended college but soon dropped out to dedicate to music full-time. Before joining Slaughter, he was in three other bands: Blacksheep, ZRocks, and Night Flight. His film credits are Rock Star (2001) (As "Donny Johnson", drummer of the fictitious band Blood Pollution).
Elias is also an avid computer fan. He has taught himself everything he knows about it, and designs the band's website. He has also worked on the enhanced portions of their CDs. His favorite sports are snowboarding and water skiing but his biggest fear is being eaten by sharks.
