Blandfordia grandiflora R.Br. |
Blandfordia grandiflora, commonly known as the Large Christmas Bell, is a species of flowering plant native to eastern Australia. It grows in damp sandy or peaty soils in coastal and tableland areas of New South Wales and Queensland. [1]
Of the four species of Blandfordia this is considered the most robust, having flowers up to 5cm long growing on stems 30-60cm long. [2] Another description ([1]) suggests that the flowering stems (scapes) are usually to 80cm long but can reach 175cm.
