Blancheflor

Blancheflor is the mother of Tristan in the verse romances of Tristan and Iseult. A sister to King Mark of Cornwall, she was married to Rivalen, the lord of Armenye (or Parmenie). She died shortly after giving birth to her son. The Prose Tristan features a different back story for Tristan's parents than the earlier verse versions; they are now named Isabelle and Meliodas.
