Blam

Blam can mean:
- a term used to describe spam comments on a blog ("Blammer" someone who leaves comments on a blog for the purposes of obtaining a backlink to their own web site.)
- an onomatopoeic term for an explosion
- Binary Logarithmic Arbitration Method, a proposed upgrade to the half-duplex Ethernet protocol to reduce channel capture in network segments containing large quantities of servers. An 802.3w working group was formed to add BLAM to the Ethernet standard, but the risk of implementing BLAM and the low rate of occurrence of channel capture outside of artificial simulation caused the standardization process to cease.[1]
- Halo: Combat Evolved, for which "Blam" was an early codename
