Blaine Taylor is the current head coach of the Old Dominion Monarchs men's basketball team. He has led his team to many accomplishments both major and minor, including a CAA Tournament championship in 2005 and appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2005 and 2007, each of which the Monarchs lost in the first round.

Taylor also led the Monarchs to the 2006 NIT semifinals, where the team lost to the Michigan Wolverines.

Taylor was head coach of the University of Montana and an assistant coach under Mike Montgomery at Stanford University before taking over as head coach of the Monarchs.
