Blade Nzimande

Dr Bonginkosi Emmanuel "Blade" Nzimande (born April 14, 1958) is a South African politician. He has been the General Secretary of the South African Communist Party since 1998.[1][2] He has a doctorate degree in philosophy specialising in sociology.

He is a supporter of Jacob Zuma, the president of the African National Congress, and has criticized the government of Thabo Mbeki and its economic policy.[3].
