Blackwater (coal)

Blackwater is the pollution produced from coal preparation.
It contains copious amounts of hazardous substances, including carcinogenic compounds and heavy metals. Blackwater is permanently impounded in toxic waste facilities, as it cannot be processed into a form that can be returned to the natural environment.
