Blackstaff is an electoral ward of South Belfast in Northern Ireland. The ward was created in 1973 as 'Donegall Ward' being carved out of the former Saint Anne's ward. In 1985 the ward was renamed Blackstaff after the local river. The area is strongly Protestant, the Catholic population in the last two censuses was less than 5%.
The ward is currently one of the smallest in Belfast and under current proposals made by the local government boundary commission, the ward is to be renamed 'Boucher' and is to expand to take in about half of the current Windsor ward.
