Blackhawk Christian School is a private K-12 school with an enrollment of approximately 750 students and is operated by Blackhawk Ministries. The school is located at 7400 E. State Blvd. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Tom Hopewell is currently the principal of the secondary school while Larry Willhite is principal of the elementary school.
Blackhawk Christian, home of the Braves, has had a history of successful athletic programs. In recent years the high school baseball program has received statewide recognition in winning class 1A state titles in 2002, 2005 and 2006. The boys basketball team, also competing in class 1A, won the sectional championship in 2008 for the seventh straight season. The run included one state runner-up title in 2004.
The school's colors are blue and yellow.
