Black and Blue is an American made for TV movie released in the USA in 1999. Based on the novel by Anna Quindlen, the story centers around Frances Benedetto (Mary Stuart Masterson), a victim of domestic violence. The movie follows Frances's relationship to her increasingly abusive husband (played by Anthony LaPaglia), and her eventual escape with her son (played by Will Rothaar).
