Black River (Vietnam)

The Black River (also known as the Da River, sông Đà in Vietnamese) is a river located in northwestern Vietnam, which forms the border between the Lai Châu and Điện Biên Provinces. It is a major tributary of Red River. It joins the Red River in Phú Thọ Province. There are two huge hydropower plants in this river named Hoa Bình Hydropower Plant and Sơn La Hydropower Plant.
