Black Magic and Purple Passion

Black Magic and Purple Passion is a non-fiction gardening book written by Karen Platt and aimed at anyone who uses dark-colored plants in their garden; it includes descriptions of over 2750 dark plants.

The book was first released in March 2000, and is recommended by many gardeners including Alan Titchmarsh. It is used by several universities around the world, and was also mentioned on BBC television. There have been three editions of the book as of 2006. The first, released in 2000, second in February 2003 and third in November 2004.
