Black Industries

Black Industries is the role-playing game imprint of BL Publishing, the publishing arm of Games Workshop. It was announced on January 28, 2008 that it would cease operations after its products currently scheduled for release are published.

Its first release was the updated Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay version 2, for which a number of additional sourcebooks have been released (such as Knights of the Grail, a Bretonnian sourcebook, and Sigmar's Heirs, a guide to the Empire)

A fourth edition of the Talisman fantasy board game was released in October 2007. Black Industries also developed a Warhammer 40,000 role-playing game, Dark Heresy, but GW announced the termination of the imprint.

With the recent argeement of licencing rights between Fantasy Flight Games and Games Workshop, the role-playing games produced by Black Industries will be continued and supported by FFG.
