Black Ark is an album by Atari Teenage Riot member Carl Crack. initially released on DHR's limted series (it is nowadays out of print) The album's sound is a mix between Noise, Dub and Jungle, sometimes reference to the style his other band ATR made popular. the sound quality of the recording is very lo-fi, but it has been remarked a very dark and personal release as Carl had been suffering from serious psychotic attacks for many years and was later found dead due to an apparent Drug Overdose in 2001. The name "Black Ark" is a tribute to the recording studio which Dub artist Lee Perry owned in Jamaica.
