The Black-tailed Hutia or Bushy-tailed Hutia (Mesocapromys melanurus) is a species of rodent in the Capromyidae family. It is endemic to Cuba. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
