The Black-headed Tanager (Tangara cyanoptera) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
