[edit] History

Blaand was introduced to Scotland by Vikings.

It was a traditional Scottish drink for centuries, but it was not commercialized; production ended in the mid 20th century.

It has recently been revived and commercialized by Humphery Errington, under the "Fallachan" brand.

[edit] Geography

The same drink (under different names) is made in Norway, Sweden, Sardinia, and Russia.
