Talk:Bjorli
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a new user, I'm not amazing at finding how to message users etc., so I'll put this here hoping it's spotted. Appreciate the note about the dialectic changes, I apologise that I had in fact changed it without checking the kommune website or anything. I did in fact live near the town for two years, and locally it is pronounced and spelled "Bjørli", but of course as you note, no Norwegian places ever have consistent spelling. I'll do what I can to get hold of some photos of the area. I've some friends who fly at the local air strip there, and I'm sure they'll have some very good aerial photographs (one is a very talented photographer). Failing that, I'm back there in August and I'll be sure to get some media for the site. I figure I've got so much out of Wikipedia it's only fair to put some back in ; ) Arctic hobo 19:23, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- You're doing great. And we all started out as new users once, so don't worry about the initial explorations—you'll figure it out soon enough. To get to a talk page, just toggle on the name and your there.
- Looking forward to your pictures. Takk - Williamborg 03:43, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
