Bjeshket e Nemuna/Prokletije Park is located in the eastern part of Kosovo and the north-western part of Albania. The terrain is rugged and the park is home to the highest mountains in the Dinaric Alps. Đeravica in Kosovo is 2,656 m high. Many lakes are found there especialy on the Albanian side.
Also this park contains many rare species of animals like the brown bear. The main towns and villages are Peć, Dečani and Junik in Kosovo and Tropojë and Bajram Curri in Albania. This parks is also home to the Prokletije or Albanian Alps where old Albanian traditions are still used.
