Hey, my name is Bjarki Sigursveinsson, I am from Akureyri, Iceland. Born in 1982 and studying law at the University of Akureyri.

Since there aren't many experts on Icelandic politics, history and geography on this site, I try to do my best to keep the information here as accurate as possible. If there are any Icelanders reading this, please check out the Icelandic Wikipedia and contribute.

I am an admin on both English and Icelandic Wikipedias. My personal view on adminship is that it is simply an access to a few technical options that should be granted to anyone who has been around for a while and established him- or herself as a trustworthy editor. I oppose all tendencies to make this a social class within Wikipedia that carries rights and obligations beyond that of any other Wikipedian.
