Bjärred

Bjärred is a coastal town in Lomma Municipality, Skåne County, southernmost Sweden, 20 km north of Malmö and 10 km west of Lund.

Bjärred has 8,663 inhabitants (2005), making it the second largest locality in Lomma Municipality. Bjärred largely serves as a suburb of Malmö and Lund, and is generally considered wealthier than Lomma.

Among the sights in the town is the open-air swimming-baths, situated 500 meters out on a bridge.
