The Bizant river shark, Glyphis sp. A, is a scientifically undescribed shark of the family Carcharhinidae, found in the tropical waters of the in the Adelaide River Northern Territory, Australia, and the Bizant River in Queensland, Australia. It may also be found in the Alligator River system of the Northern Territory. Its length is thought to be up to 2 m, possibly 3.
The rare and little-known Bizant river shark is stocky with a broadly rounded short snout and tiny eyes. The anal fin has a deeply concave posterior margin.
Coloration is greyish with inconspicuous pale flank stripes and a dusky flank patch. The fin margins are blackish in the young.
Reproduction is presumed to be viviparous.
